Fiberglass

Glass wool is an inorganic fiber made of broken glass and quartz sand through high-temperature melting and fiberization. Fiberglass ceilings use glass wool as the base material, with decorative fiberglass veil on the surface and protection from latex paint all around. Among all types of acoustic ceilings, fiberglass ceilings have the lightest density.
